WELCOME
Welcome to the Dance Lab where creativity and imagination inspire our movement and dance experiences. The Dance Lab, established in 2005, offers opportunities for young children to learn and grow through creative movement and dance. The Dance Lab brings creative dance arts to many schools and venues throughout South Jersey.
Children involved in The Dance Lab program grow and flourish creatively, artistically and physically. In turn, students develop self-awareness and gain a strengthened self-confidence. The Dance Lab utilizes a student-centered, process-oriented approach to dance education, enabling every student to become a vital and important element of each experience.
The Dance Lab connects theme-based lesson plans that enhance and deepen classroom curricula. Students work with props, music, instruments, and lots of imagination to create a superb learning environment. Students learn best when they have fun. Moreover, The Dance Lab program offers a fun, safe, and educational experience threading creative movement, dance, games, story telling, and imagination for one truly unique experience. Enjoy.

THE MOVE SERIES - Celebrating LIttle Movers
Children are quite imaginative, especially when encouraged to express themselves. The MOVE Series celebrates wonderful little movers who are using imagination and movement to strengthen their minds and bodies. Using acrylics and gouache media, Cassandra Allen takes reality snapshots, capturing moments shared at the Dance Lab.
The Dance Lab offers a half-hour, private creative moment session at The Dance Lab with your child(ren) where Candace takes your child on a creative movement journey as a photographer captures the session’s essence. Photos are narrowed down to the top most expressive ones, and the parent or guardian selects the final photo to be captured on canvas.
The most popular canvas sizes are 24” x 30” ($350) and 30” x 40” ($600) however Cassandra will work with different sized canvases, if requested. If you are interested in having your child participate in the MOVE Series campaign, speak to Candace to schedule a session - candace@thedancelab.com - 856-246-7068.
