The Dance Lab classes include creative, thoughtfully designed, inclusive experiences that enhance body-mind-spirit connectivity in a safe and welcoming environment. Strengthening our bodies with mindfulness, purpose, and efficiency encourage a stronger self-image and healthier mindset. We incorporate lots of individual attention to help guide students through personal goals including expanding creativity, improved flexibility, better posture, strengthen, tone, reshape, recover, or simply just keep the body moving. The Dance Lab is thrilled to share more offerings that benefit adults in a positive way and encourage creativity for students of all ages.


Mindful Stretch

A peaceful, calming blend of breathing, stretching, releasing, and centering the body-mind-spirit. Flow through a series of stretches at a steady, harmonious pace, designed to improve flexibility, increase range of motion, elongate healthy posture, as well as calm our minds and focus our energy, encouraging overall wellness through movement.

Dance Flow

An innovative Modern dance class incorporating a gentle dance warm-up, a focus on expanding dance elements, authentic explorations, and a calming cool down. Explore new ways of moving through space and connect with your own personal movement preferences. Improvisational structures allow for self-expression, creating unique dance flows. You will leave feeling refreshed and inspired.

Barre Blend Workout

A Dance Lab original offering

TONE your core. ELONGATE your muscles. ALIGN your posture.

A purposely curated blend of exercises combining the philosophies of Ballet, Pilates, and Yoga. Standing at the Barre, laying on the yoga mat, and seated in a chair, develop long, lean legs, a stronger core, and more definition in your arms. Barre Blend Workout targets the whole body with a focus on toning, elongating, and aligning for better placement, proper posture, stronger muscles, and efficiency in our movements. You will end class feeling taller than when you began.

Classic Mat Pilates

A traditional core workout

Pilates is a system of flowing exercises designed to strengthen the core and lengthen the muscles, engaging both the body and mind. Pilates works from the inside out with control and precision. Pilates aides in: centering the body Injury prevention - sculpting the body - discovering and working deeper muscle groups. Possible benefits include: strengthening abdominal muscles - relieving back stress - sculpting muscles for a long lean look - connecting the mind and body through concentration and focus - centering and balancing the body, lessening the chance for injuries.


Creative Dance

Incorporating the expansive works of Rudolf Laban. A focus on motor skill development, increasing movement vocabularies, and encouraging creativity and imagination allow children to grow and learn. Creative Dance emphasizes the Joy of Dance! Sharing creative problem-solving and decision-making collaborations encourage each child’s artistic growth. Creative Dance develops Body-Mind-Spirit connectivity.

Creative Arts Workshops 

A blend of creative arts and literacy. Each workshop explores an artistic element including: art, yoga, creative dance, or poetry and connects those activities with literacy components including: story development, vocabulary building, writing skills, listening skills, creative writing styles, with lots of self-expression.

Story Dance

A uniquely creative experience blending stories with Creative Dance. Each Story Dance experience includes yoga stretches, movement games, dance explorations, along with the sharing of a story to guide our creativity and imaginative inspirations.  Dance and Literacy come together with each carefully selected picture book and Creative Dance structures. Percussion instruments, world music, and props further encourage creative development.

Pilates for Kids 

Pilates is a system of flowing exercises designed to strengthen the core and lengthen the muscles, engaging both the body and mind. Pilates works from the inside out with control and precision. Pilates for Kids is specifically designed to address the needs of kids in a fun, relaxed manner that includes the use of props, imagery, and movement games and challenges.
